The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament (MP) for Asutifi
North, Joseph Dahah Benhadzi says the party’s 2012 vice presidential
candidate was consistent during cross-examination at the Supreme Court
in a case in which Nana Addo, Dr. Bawumia and chairman of the NPP, Jake
Obetsebi Lamptey are contesting the outcome of the 2012 presidential
election.
According to him, he was not surprised by the brilliant performance of Dr. Bawumia.
“When you have concrete evidence like the one we have you won’t panic in court,” he added.
Mr. Dahah, in an interview with DAILY GUIDE,
said the party’s evidence is overwhelming so they don’t need to rush.
The Asutifi North MP called on radio stations in the country to get
good resource persons to educate the public about current happenings in
the court so that the public will not believe the lies of party
propagandists.
“Don’t allow serial callers to confuse the public with what is not
true about what is going on in court so as not to bring any mayhem in
the country,” he added.
He called on supporters and sympathizers of the NPP to continue to
remain calm and pray for Dr. Bawumia, Nana Addo and the national
chairman.
He said, “Our party members have been educated well to understand
what is going on so they will not go against the laws of the country,”
he noted
